I-59's house is in transition to SNOWMANVILLE!! around every corner, on every wall...there are more snowmen inside than snow outside.... Lubbie loves the Christmas tree...especially the lights.

Finally returned the overdue book...

We finally returned Grandma Jane's book. We were planning on keeping it only one week...and that quickly turned into two!! So today during my noon-hour time, Jody, Carter, Madalynn and I took it back to Grandma. We barely got in the front door before Grandma was already jumping for joy that her book was back. Of course, Madalynn showed her all the "projects" that she has been working on and pointing out every picture to Grandma that Grandma was on. After playing with Grandpa Al's bears and bouncing on Grandma's knee, they had to take me back to work.

that's all ... for this weekend

Well, we had quite the fun filled and relaxing time of scrapbooking this weekend. Last night (rather this morning) we finished at approximately 2:15am. We have five more to do, as some great-grandchildren already had their own page, being an only child. I'll work on those five tomorrow night, so on Tuesday I can return the book to her. So here's Grandma's new book that we found today. It's not the Royal Blue, which is her favorite color, but rather a Navy blue.

and More...

Lubbie and his first ....

real chocolate chip cookie with walnuts!! He is enjoying a "snack" during lunch time. He is teething again. We keep our "extra" cookies in the freezer, so this "snack" was right up his alley for his sore gums.

We are back ....

NO NEED TO ADJUST YOUR CONTRAST, GLASSES OR ANYTHING ELSE!! I-59 IS HAVING SOME MINOR TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES WITH HER CAMERA.....

what a wonderful and relaxing time we had making some Christmas cards tonight. We BOTH won door prizes, so we came home with a total of 20 cards!! Here are the five different cards that we created.

Play date

Today the kids and I (I-59) had a play date with a friend of mine from school. She lives close but we don't see much of one another anymore. She has two girls, age 2 & 1. Maddie and the girls played very well together, while my friend and I got caught up on things. She also got a tour of our new home. The kids watched Dora, both Maddy and her daughters like Dora. We then went and had lunch then it was time to call it a day, as all of the kids were ready for a nap. Hoping to get together again before she moves an hour and a half away. However, that will give me an excuse to get away for the day. She is going to be moving close to a big mall and a children's museum.

The Assistant and I are off for a night of card making party at a friend's house. Jeremy is stuck home with the kids.

Here are the finished projects. We added a picture from today to the Snow Man and to the Picture frames. It was a lot of fun working on these projects. The kids really enjoyed themselves.

11 kids ....

Kids arrived around 1130am, we had a pizza party for lunch... then the little ones, everyone under 5yrs old went down for a nap... or at least two winks.... up and on to craft time..... here we are working on one of the four projects.

Grandma Jane's Newest Pages!

Number 22 and Number 23 Great Grandchildren's pages. The assistant decided that it would be a good idea for us to make a page for each great grandchild. Needless to say, we have a lot of catching up to do. So if you have any RECENT pictures please send them our way. HINT HINT!!!

Finally Getting Some Scrap Time In!!!

Tonight the assistant and I finally got to do some scrapbooking in our toy room. We are working on updating our Grandma Jane's book. The assistant and I made our Grandma a scrapbook for Christmas 2 years ago. She has what I call the nasty disease of Alzheimer's. So we thought that by doing this book it would help her with remembering family, past times and the present. We frequently do updates as more babies are added to the already big family. Also, we add new and updated pictures of the grandchildren to which, she has 16 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. These are the pictures of when we presented the book to her on December 31, 2006.

Preparation!!!

This week has been going by very fast. Busy re-cooping from being sick for 4 days. I had a Tupperware party on Tuesday. The kids are very excited about this weekend because they are going to be having a play date. My cousin is going to be coming to town for a wedding and the assistant and I are going to be watching her children while her and her hubby get a night away without any children. She has three children of her own and two foster children that will also be along. She has a son who it Brady's age and another son that is 4 and then a daughter that is the same age as Maddie. The two foster children are 12 and the other is an infant. Not sure on the exact age. If I had to guess I would say 6 months. So needless to say that we are going to have a house full. Besides my three kids and the assistant two, she will also be having another child her that she watches on a part-time basis. So if you were keeping track that would be a total of 11 kids. We are going to be having a full house. We are going to be doing some craft items to pass the time and watch a movie and have some popcorn. We will have to post some pictures after Saturday. Have a good weekend to all.

Good Venison!!!

Here is Brady standing next to Uncle Brad's Master Work.
Brad has now hit two deer and killed them with his work car.
Brian also hit a deer 2 weeks ago with his truck. I told them
that I better not be next. We spent the day today at Grandma and Grandpa Helmer's house cutting deer and of course eating it. We also managed to watch the Packer game in that time.
